Nobody Has a Confirmed Answer

The wealthiest Below Deck cast member is unknown. No cast member has publicly stated their net worth, and the published rankings provide no verifiable method. Chef Ben Robinson is the name most often placed first, but those figures remain estimates.

What the Evidence Shows

Social Life Magazine's captains' list of 31 January 2026 puts Captain Kerry Titheradge first. It cites no source for his estimated wealth.

Our main Below Deck guide covers the boats, series and published charter rates. The cost of the yacht is not evidence of the crew's personal wealth.

Ben Usually Tops Lists

1.Ben Usually Tops Lists

Estimates Without a Method

Ben Robinson. The chef most often leads whole-cast rankings, although the publishers disagree on his estimated wealth. TheThings put him first at an estimated $2.5 million on 28 July 2021. StyleCaster printed an estimated $3 million on 9 June 2025 while crediting TheThings.

TVOvermind also ranked him first on 1 April 2026, using an estimated $2 million to $3 million range. It described its figures as widely reported internet estimates. None of these publications supplied a calculation that a reader could check.

Distractify's 1 November 2022 estimate for Kerry Titheradge, attributed to FactsWikis, was a broad range. Social Life Magazine printed its upper figure of $5 million without citing a source. That does not establish that Kerry has more money than Ben.

The Attribution Falls Apart

2.The Attribution Falls Apart

One Genuine Profile

Celebrity Net Worth. Kate Chastain was the only cast member for whom our research found a genuine profile on the site. Its estimated $300,000 appeared on a page published on 5 June 2019 and last modified on 12 January 2020. That is an old estimate, not a current disclosure.

Searches for Ben Robinson, Kerry Titheradge, Glenn Shephard, Lee Rosbach, Hannah Ferrier, Sandy Yawn and Jason Chambers found no corresponding profiles. Guessed addresses led to the site's search page. For those names, attribution to Celebrity Net Worth has no supporting page in the evidence checked.

Even Kate's profile gives no calculation that establishes her wealth. StyleCaster gives conflicting estimates for Kerry in the heading and body of the same entry.

What Production Pays

3.What Production Pays

Monthly Wages During Filming

Cast pay. Business Insider reported on 9 January 2024 that production pays cast members wages comparable with ordinary yachting jobs. Deckhands and second and third stews typically received about $5,000 a month, chief stews and chefs about $6,000, and captains upwards of $16,000.

The report describes payment by the production company, rather than a yacht salary with a separate television appearance fee added. It also reports that returning cast can receive raises of up to 20%. Bravo has not published a cast pay schedule.

Filming lasts six weeks. Our rough calculation treats that as one and a half months. Multiplying $5,000 to $6,000 by 1.5 gives $7,500 to $9,000 before tips. Our crewed charter guide explains the onboard roles.

How Salary Errors Spread

4.How Salary Errors Spread

Two Misread Pay Figures

Salary errors. StyleCaster takes Business Insider's monthly wage and multiplies it across a full year. That gives an annual equivalent for continuous employment, not earnings from a six-week filming season. The calculation assumes a full year of work that the filming schedule does not support.

Refinery29's 3 November 2020 article attaches a generic captain's salary estimate to Captain Lee Rosbach. It used an industry estimate for a captain commanding a yacht of that size. It acknowledged that neither Bravo nor Lee had disclosed his salary.

Keep the time period attached to the wage, and the job category attached to the survey result. Neither an annualised filming wage nor an industry salary estimate establishes a cast member's net worth.

Tips Make a Difference

5.Tips Make a Difference

Typical Payments and Records

Tips. A Mediterranean casting sheet reported by Cheat Sheet on 16 August 2021 described typical gratuities of $15,000 to $20,000 per charter, shared by the crew. That is a dated casting-sheet figure, not a measured franchise-wide average.

Bravo reported a franchise record of $50,018 on 29 June 2026, in Mediterranean season 11, episode four. The reported share was $3,847 per crew member. This record does not establish what a crew member typically receives.

For a whole season, Bravo's season 11 finale report, dated 27 May 2024, records $208,750 in total tips aboard St David. That is the crew's collective total. Business Insider also reports that production wires tips to crew accounts and that, for many recipients, they are taxable.

Real Yacht Crew Pay

6.Real Yacht Crew Pay

The Salary Survey Comparison

Industry salaries. Dockwalk reports captain pay by yacht size. Its article of 1 February 2022 draws on the 2021 salary survey, with 476 captain responses, including 336 supplying salary data.

Captains of yachts measuring 140ft to 179ft averaged $14,166 a month. Those commanding 180ft to 239ft yachts averaged $16,147, close to Business Insider's reported captain pay. The larger category's reported salaries ranged from $9,200 to $23,250 a month, so its average should not be assigned to an individual captain.

These are historical industry figures. Business Insider supplies the reported chef, stew and deckhand wages discussed above; this Dockwalk comparison covers captains. Neither establishes personal wealth. Our yacht charter cost guide explains what the holiday costs the guests.
