What Qualifications Do I Need?
You do not need any qualifications to join us on the water! We have experienced skippers and reps to guide you through the process if you need it.
If you want to helm a boat yourself you will need a practical sailing certificate equivalent to RYA Day Skipper Practical, International Certificate of Competence (ICC) or above.
Payment and Cancellations
We know and understand everyone is worried about Covid-19, but we have created the best and most reasonable package and cancellation policy for our SailChecker University sail week.
We also understand that plans change and Covid-19, so we have come up with a solution. For an additional £400 (per boat) we can offer an extended policy which allows free rebooking or cancellation without reason (up to 21 days before the departure date, with a full refund).

SailChecker University sail week isn’t your normal sailing trip. We have created a price which includes the following:
- Modern yacht (sleeps 12 max)
- 7 days / 6 nights accommodation

What's Not Included?
We have created the most comprehensive SailChecker University sail week package out there, but there are still a few things you will be required to purchase:
- Flights to/from Croatia
- Fuel costs – Approx 100 EURO per boat
- Any food and drinks you require
Who Is SailChecker?
We ensure we have thought of every last detail from transfers to helping out with itineraries.
Including complimentary food and drink starter packs. Daily activities, parties and events such as ‘Race Day – powered by SailChecker’ where teams can compete against other boats in your first sailing race.
Other additional benefits include Taxi transfer from the airport and water taxis throughout week/complimentary food and drink.
How To Book
All boats and berths are allocated strictly on a first-come-first-served basis on SailChecker University sail week.
The 7 Steps:
- Crew – Find your crew.
- Skipper – If using your own skipper – get the skipper’s qualifications checked out.
- Funds – Gather together your funds. A 20% non-returnable deposit is payable on booking.
- Boat – Choose your boat. Keep in mind it’s first come first serve!
- Invoice – Receive an invoice; you will need to settle within 3 working days.
- 2nd Installment – 50% of the balance is required by the end of December
- Final Instalment – Due 56 days before charter together with any extras, such as crew shirts.
