Good to know
- Licences
- None needed: this is a fully crewed charter. The professional crew hold all required licences, so no sailing qualifications or experience are required from your party.
- Cancellation
- Cancellation terms are operator-specific and disclosed in the charter contract before payment. As a rule, most Mediterranean operators retain the full charter fee within 30 days of departure; we recommend charter cancellation insurance (typically 4-5% of the charter fee).

Why SailChecker
We're independent of the yacht's operator. Your enquiry goes to Bethan, our charter adviser, so you know who you're dealing with.
Looked After, Start to Finish
SailChecker is a family business, run by the same people who answer your enquiry. From your first question to the day you step aboard, you deal with real advisors who know the boats, the bases and the operators.
No call-centre hand-offs and no listing site, just a small, expert crew who take it personally and stay with you the whole way.
