## General

Encore is a 40.0-metre tri-deck motor superyacht built by Sunseeker International in 2009, a product of the British yard's largest production model at the time of its introduction. The model is known as the Sunseeker 40 Metre Yacht, also referred to as the 131 Superyacht in feet. The exterior lines follow the naval architecture of Don Shead, whose long-standing design partnership with Sunseeker shaped the brand's performance-oriented hull forms, while interiors across the model series were developed in-house by Sunseeker's own design team. The hull and superstructure are built in GRP to a semi-displacement form, and the vessel is constructed to MCA and RINA commercial classification standards, making her suitable for professional charter operations. Power comes from twin MTU 12V 4000 M93 engines delivering a maximum speed of around 24 to 25 knots and a cruising range of approximately 1,500 nautical miles. ## Accommodation & Crew

Encore accommodates guests across five staterooms on a three-deck layout. The model's standard arrangement places a master suite on the main deck, with VIP and twin staterooms on the lower deck, each with an en-suite bathroom. The main deck features a full-beam saloon with formal dining, plush seating, and large windows providing natural light throughout. The upper deck carries a further lounge area with a cocktail bar. Outdoor spaces include a large sundeck with a Jacuzzi, sun loungers and bar, an aft deck suited to al fresco dining, and a foredeck lounge. A hydraulic swim platform at the stern provides direct water access. The vessel has a gross tonnage of 338 GT, which reflects the generous interior volume delivered within the 40-metre platform.

Encore is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and operates on the waters of the Arabian Gulf. The Arabian Gulf cruising ground extends across the seven emirates, and itineraries regularly take in Abu Dhabi to the south-west and the Emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain to the north-east, as well as the Musandam Peninsula in Oman. Permits issued in either Abu Dhabi or Dubai are mutually recognised for foreign-flagged yachts, simplifying movement between the two main cruising hubs without repeated approvals. Dubai operates year-round as a charter base, with the cooler months offering the most comfortable conditions on the water.
