Broker DescriptionAbout this yachtDescription supplied by the yacht's central agent

Built in 2012, HOUBARA is a modern double decker sailing catamaran equipped with sleek hulls and a streamlined deckhouse. This 23.99m Sunreef yacht is a unique model on the charter market; she particularly stands out for Corsican and Sardian charters. She offers ample outdoor space for lounging, sunbathing, and various leisure activities on deck. Her impressive vast cockpit holds a large dining table for up to 8 guests and additional storage for diving equipment. One of HOUBARA’s notable features is her mezzanine floor on the starboard side of the main deck within the dining area, incorporating an open bar within a lounge space.

She accommodates up to 6 guests in a ensuite master’s cabin equipped with a jacuzzi, a queen cabin and one guest twin cabin convertible to a double cabin with an additional pullman bed. This catamaran is perfect for honeymoons, as well as cruises with friends and family. All guests cabins are spacious with spectacular sea views through large windows, ample storage, and air conditioning.

Refitted 2024 and available for charter with a professional crew of three, guests can rest assured that their cruise aboard HOUBARA this summer will be unforgettable.

None needed: this is a fully crewed charter. The professional crew hold all required licences, so no sailing qualifications or experience are required from your party.
Cancellation
Cancellation terms are operator-specific and disclosed in the charter contract before payment. As a rule, most Mediterranean operators retain the full charter fee within 30 days of departure; we recommend charter cancellation insurance (typically 4-5% of the charter fee).

A starting point, not a script: pick one as a template and we'll tailor the dates, stops, and pace to your crew.

Amalfi Coast7 days · ~120 nm · 5 stops

Spectacular but anchorages crowd in July-August. Book restaurant moorings ahead.

1Salerno
Charter base. Spend the first night here before the coast.
2Amalfi
Tie alongside or pick up a mooring outside the breakwater.
3Positano
No marina, moor offshore and tender in. The dramatic photo stop.
4Capri
Marina Grande books months ahead; many boats anchor in Marina Piccola instead.
5Procida
Quieter than Capri, equally pretty. Marina di Corricella has the colourful houses.
Sardinia & La Maddalena7 days · ~140 nm · 4 stops

Turquoise water and granite islands. Two-country tick (Italy + Corsica/France) without long sails.

1Olbia
Charter base.
2Maddalena
Permits required, the park office handles them; budget €20-30 per night.
3Caprera
Garibaldi's island; clear anchorages on the east side.
4Bonifacio
French Corsica: cliff-faced fjord harbour. Stamp the passport. Worth the day.
