## General

Song of Songs is a 42.7-metre motor yacht built by Heysea Yachts and delivered in 2022. She is the inaugural hull of the Asteria 139 platform, developed in collaboration between Heysea and Italian design studio VYD Studio. Both the exterior and interior design were conceived by VYD Studio, while naval architecture was handled in-house by Heysea Yachts. Construction was carried out at the Heysea facility near Hong Kong and completed to RINA classification with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure over a teak deck. Her twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines deliver a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 17 knots, with a range of approximately 2,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. ### Design

The design makes extensive use of full-height glazing throughout the shared guest spaces, with large glazed bulwark cut-outs on the main deck providing panoramic views from within. On the main deck aft, large glass doors open fully to create a seamless flow between interior saloon and the aft deck. The upper deck houses the owner's suite with an aft-facing private terrace, a feature uncommon at this size. The sun deck offers alfresco dining for twelve, lounge seating and a fully equipped bar. A forward-deck jacuzzi, a beach club with swim platform, and underwater lighting complete the deck arrangement.

## Accommodation & Crew

Song of Songs accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms. The layout comprises a master suite on the upper deck, one VIP [cabin](/what-is-a-cabin/) with a queen-size bed, and four double cabins, each with en-suite bathroom facilities. A convertible cabin configuration is available for flexible group arrangements. Separate crew quarters are provided aboard, with the yacht carrying a crew complement that multiple charter sources consistently note at between nine and ten, including captain, chief engineer, bosun, deckhands, chef, and stewardess team.

## Location

Song of Songs is based in Thailand and operates primarily across the waters of Phuket and the surrounding region, including Phang Nga Bay, the Similan Islands, and the Phi Phi Islands. She is available for extended itineraries further afield in South East Asia, including passages toward Langkawi, Malaysia, and the broader Indian Ocean and South China Sea cruising grounds.
