## General
CC-Summer (formerly named Madsummer) is a 95-metre custom motor yacht built by the German shipyard Lürssen and delivered in 2019. The exterior design was penned by Harrison Eidsgaard, whose balanced silhouette features a sharp raked bow and an extensive main-deck aft area. Interior design is the work of Studio Laura Sessa, with each guest stateroom given its own distinct colour palette. Naval architecture was developed in-house by Lürssen. The yacht was refitted in 2025. CC-Summer is registered under the Marshall Islands flag and carries a gross tonnage of approximately 3,091 GT. Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure are finished with teak decks throughout. Two MTU 16V 4000 M73 diesel engines deliver a top speed of around 18 knots and a cruising range of approximately 6,000 nautical miles. A 125 kW lithium-ion battery pack works alongside the main engines to improve fuel efficiency and store excess energy. The yacht carries a certified foredeck helipad, able to take the weight of a Husky Seaplane. Onboard amenities include a large beach club and spa area with a sea terrace on the lower deck, a main-deck swimming pool, an upper-deck Jacuzzi, a movie theatre, a dance floor, a gymnasium, a hammam, a beauty salon, a Teppanyaki grill, an outdoor firepit lounge, and a custom waterslide to the sea. The aft main deck features mirrored glass bulwarks, a first for Lürssen, providing views while shielding guests from wind and outside sightlines. CC-Summer received a Special Commendation at the World Superyacht Awards 2020 in the Best Displacement Motor Yacht of 2,000 GT and above category, and was a finalist in two Boat International Design and Innovation Awards 2020 categories. ## Accommodation & Crew
CC-Summer accommodates up to 12 guests across 10 en-suite staterooms. The full-beam master suite is positioned on the upper deck and offers 180-degree sea views, a private terrace with its own Jacuzzi, and a dedicated en-suite bathroom. The remaining staterooms are each individually styled with distinct colour schemes by Studio Laura Sessa. A professional crew of approximately 28 to 30 attends all charter guests; guests do not sail or operate the vessel themselves. The crew handles all navigation, hospitality, and onboard services throughout the charter.
## Location
CC-Summer operates as a crewed charter [yacht](/what-is-a-yacht/) in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. During the northern-hemisphere warm months she is typically found cruising the West Mediterranean, including the French Riviera and the Balearic Islands. She repositions to the Caribbean for the winter charter season. Her cruising range of approximately 6,000 nautical miles, combined with the certified helipad, makes her well suited to extended itineraries and remote anchorages across both regions.

Good to know
- Licences
- None needed: this is a fully crewed charter. The professional crew hold all required licences, so no sailing qualifications or experience are required from your party.
- Cancellation
- Cancellation terms are operator-specific and disclosed in the charter contract before payment. As a rule, most Mediterranean operators retain the full charter fee within 30 days of departure; we recommend charter cancellation insurance (typically 4-5% of the charter fee).
