Ocean (Lagoon 50)

Ideal for groups This 50-foot catamaran is perfect if you're chartering with a larger party, 13 berths across 7 cabins means everyone gets their own space, which is rare and valuable on a week-long trip. The dual-hull design also gives you excellent stability and shallow-draft capability, handy for exploring shallower anchorages without the rolling you'd feel on a monohull.

Well-equipped modern cat Built in 2019, Ocean comes loaded with creature comforts: air conditioning, water maker, generator, and electric winches take the hard graft out of sailing. The lazy jack and cockpit cushions suggest thoughtful outfitting for comfort, and the chart plotter plus full audio setup means navigation and entertainment are both covered.

Modest value question At 3.8/5 stars from only 4 reviews, the operator has limited track record to judge reliability or service consistency. The €1,000 deposit is reasonable, but without knowing the weekly rate or base location, it's hard to say whether you're getting fair value for a 2019 cat of this size, comparison shop against similar boats in your target region.

One practical caveat Seven cabins sounds generous, but on a catamaran of this length they're likely compact; if your group includes anyone who values cabin space over berth count, this might feel cramped. Confirm cabin layouts before booking, especially if you're mixing couples and solo travelers.
