## General
Alvia is a 76-metre motor [yacht](/what-is-a-yacht/) built by Feadship at its Royal Van Lent facility in the Netherlands and delivered in 2024. Exterior and interior design are the work of British studio RWD, with the interior completed in collaboration with Susan Young Interiors. Naval architecture is by De Voogt Naval Architects, Feadship's in-house design office. The hull is steel and the superstructure aluminium, with a gross tonnage of 2,265 GT. Alvia is managed for charter by Burgess, which holds the central agency.
### Design & specification
Alvia's profile is defined by a white hull and superstructure, a raked bow and clean deck lines that flow across four levels. Interior spaces maintain a calm, contemporary character: soft tones, natural light and panoramic windows keep the sea in constant view. The main salon is arranged with two seating areas flanking large windows, a corner bar and a dining table. A guest elevator connects the main deck to the bridge deck. Propulsion comes from two MTU engines delivering a cruising speed of 15 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
## Accommodation & Crew
Alvia accommodates up to 12 guests across seven cabins, all staffed by a professional crew of 21. Guests do not operate the yacht; all seamanship, navigation and service are handled by the crew throughout the charter.
The master suite occupies the full-beam owner's deck forward, with semi-circular wraparound glazing, a large skylight above the bed and its own private terrace. The suite is served by his-and-hers ensuites, a private office and a dedicated massage and beauty salon, the last with its own fold-out balcony. On the main deck, guest accommodation comprises two VIP suites each with a private balcony, two double cabins convertible to a third VIP configuration, and a twin [cabin](/what-is-a-cabin/), providing flexibility for a variety of group compositions.
### Amenities
The social centrepiece of the main deck aft is a 6.4-metre glass-bottomed swimming pool whose transparent floor also brings natural light into the gym directly below. The sun deck carries a glass-sided jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads. The bridge deck doubles as an outdoor cinema, with an 85-inch drop-down screen and LED feature wall. A lower-deck wellness centre provides an infrared sauna, steam room and plunge pool. A dedicated games deck offers a multi-sport court suitable for basketball, football and pickleball, and Alvia holds approved RYA Water Sports Centre status. Custom Compass tenders, a limousine tender and an open tender, handle water-based excursions. At-anchor and underway stabilisers are fitted throughout.
## Location
Alvia operates across two principal cruising areas: the Western Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The yacht transitions between these regions according to the charter calendar, allowing guests to explore the coastlines, islands and anchorages of both destinations. Charter rates are from {price_from}, plus [APA](/advanced-provisioning-allowance-apa/) and local taxes, shown in full.

Good to know
- Licences
- None needed: this is a fully crewed charter. The professional crew hold all required licences, so no sailing qualifications or experience are required from your party.
- Cancellation
- Cancellation terms are operator-specific and disclosed in the charter contract before payment. As a rule, most Mediterranean operators retain the full charter fee within 30 days of departure; we recommend charter cancellation insurance (typically 4-5% of the charter fee).
