Broker Description
Description supplied by the yacht's central agent
For this first time in history, the legendary 49.45m Feadship M/Y HIGHLANDER will be available for charter in the CARIBBEAN this winter & in the MEDITERRANEAN this Summer.
Originally built for Malcolm Forbes by De Vries in 1986, the Bannenberg design Feadship was long seen as one of the best-known symbols of big business, cruising the east coast of the USA as a corporate yacht for Forbes magazine.
Recently purchased by her new owners, HIGHLANDER (ex The Highlander) underwent a comprehensive refit at Derecktor Florida including a full interior relook, lengthening of the hull, major mechanicals and full paint job. From Liz Taylor, Robert De Niro and Harrison Ford to Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan and HRH Prince Charles, the guest lists for The Highlander read like a who’s who of the world’s glamorous movie stars and heads of state.

Good to know
- Licences
- None needed: this is a fully crewed charter. The professional crew hold all required licences, so no sailing qualifications or experience are required from your party.
- Cancellation
- Cancellation terms are operator-specific and disclosed in the charter contract before payment. As a rule, most Mediterranean operators retain the full charter fee within 30 days of departure; we recommend charter cancellation insurance (typically 4-5% of the charter fee).
