Ultimate guide to a French Polynesia Yacht Charter
We have been lucky to put together some recent yacht charter packages in Tahiti. We were so impressed that we wanted to share some of the juicy details with you. Okay, there are slightly cheaper places to sail, but I think you might be surprised about the balance value. And, after all, we are talking about somewhere pretty special. If you would like to know more, then read on.
The Splendor
No number of pixels can capture the iridescent shades of indigo and emerald that greet sailors in the palm-fringed lagoons of the South Pacific, simple the world’s most exotic sailing grounds. When I sailed from Tahiti, the Pearl of the “Society Islands”, to the outer islands, I recall seeing on the horizon, 15 NM away, the jagged mountain spires of Moora – the setting for the famous Mutiny on the Bounty. Captain Cook left a legacy by giving his name to one of the Bays.
Tiare Tahiti
The Tiare Tahiti is the emblem of French Polynesia. A blossom is traditionally presented to travellers upon arrival in Tahiti and is worn behind the ear in a way that denotes marital status.
