Our Guide to Gocek Sailing Itinerary

Gocek is a high class sailing resort with 5 superb marinas and 3 resorts. The town is surrounded by 12 beautiful islands, each with their own unique features (many include mountains, hills, coves and plenty more unique things to explore). Gocek is located within a National Park with forest pines and low houses that offer breathtaking views out into the ocean.

Getting There

The easiest and quickest way to get to Gocek to begin our Gocek Sailing Itinerary is by plane. The closest airport to Gocek is Dalaman International Airport, which has regular flights from all over Europe, including the UK, Germany and Turkey. The airport has a cheap and easy shuttle service to the town, which is approximately 11 miles (30 minutes) to the starting point of our Gocek Sailing Itinerary

Weather

Τhe Gocek Sailing Itinerary is an ideal sailing destination during the summer months. Gocek has a Mediterranean climate with over 300 days of sunshine annually. In the summer months the temperature averages 34 degrees celsius and in the winter months the average is 14 degrees celsius, providing the perfect temperature and sunshine to complete our Gocek Sailing Itinerary

Mooring

Gocek has a small number of marinas many of which are world class standard. Although this is true a large number of the islands and local areas do not have moorings available so ocean anchorage is recommended.
