Turkey flotilla sailing holiday
Sail Turkey's Mediterranean coast on a guided flotilla: from the Bay of Fethiye to Kekova, all abilities welcome.
Forget what you may have heard about Turkey: it is still one of the most rewarding places to go sailing, and a flotilla holiday is the ideal way to explore it. Turkey suits all sailing abilities, with some areas seeing stronger winds and others milder ones depending on where you go. Hot, dry summers, idyllic islands, beaches, and beautiful villages are all waiting to be discovered, alongside idyllic bays, ancient ruins, and clear turquoise water.
A Turkey flotilla sailing holiday is easy to reach from almost anywhere in the world. Many of the islands have their own airports, alongside the mainland airports serving whichever area you choose to sail from, and most of these connect onward to other destinations across Europe and beyond.
The weather in Turkey is well suited to sailing, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. Wind strength varies depending on where you are along the coast. The sailing season begins at the end of April or early May and runs through to October.

1.Why go on a Turkey flotilla
There is plenty to see and do while you sail Turkey's magnificent Mediterranean coast. Known for its pebbly coves, ancient ruins, and clear blue waters, Turkey is amazing, and if you want to experience it to the fullest, a bareboat or flotilla sailing holiday is the way to do it.
On a flotilla you get new experiences at every turn: the mirage of blue waters, secluded bays with a variety of sailing conditions, and line of sight navigation that makes the whole trip approachable, even if you have never sailed these waters before.
Turkey's Mediterranean and Aegean coast offers everything a sailing holiday should: pebbly coves backed by ancient ruins, clear blue water, and a reliable northwesterly breeze that makes for easy, enjoyable sailing at all ability levels.
A flotilla means you sail in company with a lead boat whose experienced crew handle navigation, logistics, and local knowledge, so first-time bareboat sailors and experienced crews alike can focus on the sailing and the scenery.

2.Itineraries
We offer many different flotilla options for Turkey, and if a Turkey flotilla sailing holiday interests you, we have partners who specialise in flotilla bookings. We work to get the best pricing and discounts on these bookings, making us a strong choice for arranging your trip.
Our flotilla partners sail out of Fethiye, Orhaniye, and Kekova, with one-week and two-week options.

Two weeks: Bozburun/Orhaniye, West to East (one way), Kekova.
Beyond these set routes, Gocek and Marmaris are also popular starting points for a Turkey flotilla sailing holiday, each with their own mix of sheltered bays and short passages between anchorages.

3.What's included
Each flotilla trip is accompanied by the charter company's lead crew to assist with any needs along the way. Activities include guided walking expeditions to waterfalls, castles, ancient tombs, and bathhouses, plus watersports, evening bonfires, and boat barbecues.
Guests are welcomed at the marina of the 5-star Yacht Classic Hotel, with access to the restaurant, pool, pool bar, and beach beds from arrival.
The local crew accompanying each flotilla use their expert knowledge to find the best anchorages, secluded bays, and one-of-a-kind experiences along the way, so the route always makes the most of local conditions and local knowledge.

4.Sailing conditions
A Turkey flotilla sailing holiday is a great experience for all sailing abilities, with line of sight navigation and a reliable northwesterly wind that blows steadily at Force 2 to 4.
Turkey is ideal for flotilla sailing: line-of-sight navigation, a reliable northwesterly blowing steadily at Force 2 to 4, and anchorages close together so passages are short. Occasionally the wind reaches Force 5 to 6, but it typically calms again in the evening, right when you are ready to drop anchor.
The sailing season runs from May to late October. August temperatures reach 30 degrees C or more with very little rainfall, perfect for being on the water all day.

5.The boats
