Kismet is a 122-metre motor [yacht](/what-is-a-yacht/) built by the German shipyard Lürssen and delivered in 2024. Construction began under the project name JAG, with the keel laid in late 2020 and the vessel launched in June 2021 before an extensive fitting-out period. Naval architecture is by Lürssen, exterior design by the Italian studio Nuvolari Lenard, and interiors by the British practice Reymond Langton Design. The result is a six-deck, steel-hulled vessel with an aluminium superstructure, a gross tonnage of 4,918 GT, and a beam of approximately 17 metres.

Kismet was built for a returning Lürssen owner, representing the third successive commission from the same yard. She is available for charter through Cecil Wright as central agent.

### Design

Nuvolari Lenard gave Kismet a forward-leaning bow profile culminating in a sculpted jaguar figurehead, a recurring motif across the owner's successive Lürssen commissions. Reymond Langton Design described the interior approach as balancing modern and classical influences, drawing on oriental and Balinese references alongside Art Deco detailing. The two-level open-plan entrance area features video walls, and a dedicated cinema on the lower deck is fitted with a 150-inch screen and an underwater seating area. Onboard amenities include a wellness suite with a hammam, sauna, cryotherapy chamber, waterfall shower, and chromotherapy bathtub, as well as a gym and yoga studio, a beauty salon, a dancefloor, an interactive pool lounge, a spa pool on the sundeck, firepit areas, and a beach club. Guest cabins are finished with floor-to-ceiling windows and distinctive decorative elements throughout.

Kismet is fitted with a hybrid propulsion system incorporating power take-in electric motors, allowing periods of electric cruising, alongside two MTU diesel engines. Her maximum speed is 18 knots, with a range of approximately 6,000 nautical miles at cruising speed.
