British Virgin Islands Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival
When considering Caribbean regattas, the BVI Spring Regatta, held in March/April each year, is one of the regions premier events. Its attraction is almost certainly it has something for everyone. Whether you’re a born racer, cruiser, or just come to party, they have it all. Race & Cruise your way through the BVI, a great way to discover the islands, meet great new friends and race yachts.
Know in full as the BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival, the weeklong event takes you throughout the beautiful British Virgin Islands. It all kicks off at Nanny Cay; the Sailing Festival element of the BVI Spring regatta is two days of warm-up racing. Some only part take in this or just the main regatta. The BVI Spring Regatta proper is three days of some of the best racing in the Caribbean. Only the best survive to take home the chocolates and the bragging rights together with the stories to bore their grand-children with!
BVISR – Courses
A quick look at the 2017 scheduled events

Norman Island Course Area
Passing through the scenic islands, the various divisions of bareboats, multihulls, cruisers, and classics sail one to two races per day. A great way to enjoy bvi sailing.

SOL Course Area
Windward leeward ‘sausages’ and around rocks and islands courses are set for Racing and Racer/Cruiser divisions. It’s a “sailors workout” with up to five races a day.

Professional Race management to ensure best courses for each class.

Bareboat Sailing BVI Spring Regatta
Price: £ POA
We can offer a variety of bareboat sailing options, this is a great option as they have their own division. In theory at least, you should be sailing against others of a similar standard. For this, you will need a couple of decent sailors aboard, although you can alway hire a skipper.
Crewed Charter Sailing BVI Spring Regatta
Price: £ POA
If you are looking for something luxurious, you can hire an experienced crew to take you and your guests racing. Here you can pick and choice how much or how little you get involved in.
Cabin Charter Sailing BVI Spring Regatta
Price: £ POA
We offer individuals, couples, and groups an opportunity to join a formed crew. There is a train/race package during which time you’ll cover: Racing rules, Starting techniques, Upwind boat handling, Downwind boat handling.Their professional crew will train you to ensure that the racing is safe, fun and that each crew member is able to make a valuable contribution to the team effort. The skipper will assess the overall crew capability before deciding whether to race in the spinnaker class or not.

Whether you are crewed, bareboat or Cabin…
Enjoy cocktails on the beach, a yoga session at sunrise or take a trip to the Bath’s at Virgin Gorda. These beautiful islands have so much to offer. Join in the dinghy sailing competition on lay day at the Bitter End or take a trip to Anegada… The choices are endless!
