About this yacht
Our BaIi 4.3 is the mid-size level (Superior category, by the way!) of Bali catamarans for hire of Helm Yachting in terms of dimensions: it is very similar to the Bali 4.1, only a little longer and wider. It belongs to the new generation concept of charter sailing boats made to live in (and not just to sail faster): it's more of a floating villa for guests looking for space and comfort rather than speed and sailing performance. Like the Bali 4.1, the 4.3 is also a revolution in the concept of holidays, making charter sailing easily accessible and full of fun even for non-expert sailors. Beginners as well as sea experts will adore the incredible spaces and the incomparable stability of our Bali 4.3 catamaran, which will welcome them into the magical world of sailing charters, without spending a fortune (comfort cabins with electric fans and standard equipment). The Aeolian Islands will become the unique stage of your sailing holiday! with unparalleled comfort.

LIVING AREA

Sailing on this catamaran, you will enjoy its large cockpit/saloon area: a single space for dining and relaxing, which can be opened or closed at your convenience with a single button. At the stern it offers a large sofa, which will allow you to accommodate up to 10 people in total and at the bow a huge galley with fridge and freezer, as well as an integrated ice machine and infinite compartments for provisions.

SLEEPING AREA

All cabins are equipped with full-length double beds and en-suite bathrooms with integrated showers, as well as a small wardrobe for storing luggage. All cabins are also equipped with electric fans to cool off on hot days. At the bow, mini-cabins for the skipper can accommodate 2 more people, for a total of 10 people who can comfortably be accommodated on board.

OUTDOOR SPACES

The raised wheelhouse offers an incredible convivial fly bridge with 3 sunbeds, and a lounge area with coffee table, while her unique bow offers 5 sunbeds with 2 coffee tables to enjoy any seat on this incredible yacht. The result is that our Bali 4.3 catamaran offers as many as 3 separate areas for its guests, thus avoiding the classic overcrowding as occurs on monohull sailboats of the same length.

100 lt/h Watermaker, 2 KVA Inverter, 2 Solar panels, Sea water tap in the kitchen, American fridge freezer (2 doors), Coffee machine “Lavazza A Modo Mio”, Microwave Hair dryer, Fans in the cabins and salon, Electric wc
SailChecker Expert View

Ideal for families PATRIZIA is a fantastic choice if you're chartering with extended family or a group of up to 10 people, the six-cabin layout means everyone gets decent privacy. For international guests flying in from the US or Europe, a modern 2020 catamaran in this size range is easy to manage and forgiving in various sea states.

Standout comfort features The flybridge, water maker, solar panels, and electric winches show this boat is genuinely well-equipped for a relaxed charter. You've got proper creature comforts, refrigeration, hot water, and autopilot, so you're not roughing it, plus the bimini keeps the sun off when anchored.

Solid value proposition At 13.1m with six cabins and modern systems, PATRIZIA punches above its weight for group charters. The €4,000 deposit is reasonable, and Helm Yachting's track record matters here, check their reviews to confirm turnaround quality and support during your charter.

One practical note We'd need to know the charter base location to assess your airport transfer time and local sailing conditions, so do confirm that directly with Helm Yachting. The boat's well-spec'd, but base logistics can make or break a long-haul charter experience.

The marina & destination

Based at Capo d'Orlando Marina, in Capo d'Orlando, Italy. PATRIZIA is operated by Helm Yachting.

Contrada S. Gregorio

Why this is a great starting point

Capo d'Orlando Marina sits on Sicily's north coast, offering immediate access to the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands; week one typically involves motor-sailing or light reaching to Lipari, Vulcano, and Salina, with the prevailing northwesterlies allowing comfortable passages of 15-25 nautical miles between anchorages. The marina provides a practical base for exploring protected anchorages around Panarea and Stromboli before returning westward along the Sicilian coast toward the Cefalù area, giving you a mix of overnight anchorages, small harbors, and volcanic scenery without long open-water passages.

Frequently asked questions
Can PATRIZIA be rented with or without a skipper?
You can charter PATRIZIA bareboat (you skipper) if you hold the relevant sailing licence, or hire a professional skipper alongside the yacht. The choice is yours when you request the quote.
What sailing licence do I need to charter PATRIZIA?
Bareboat charter typically requires a recognised sailing licence (RYA Day Skipper, ICC, ASA, or equivalent) plus a VHF radio licence. The exact requirements depend on the country of charter — we confirm with the operator when you enquire.
What's included in the charter price?
The charter fee covers the yacht, standard equipment, and insurance for the dates booked. Tourist tax, transit log (final cleaning + bed linen), fuel, food, marina fees during the trip, and any optional extras (skipper, paddle board, etc.) are normally extra and paid at the base.
What additional costs should I expect at the base?
Typical mandatory extras are the transit log (often €200–€350), tourist tax (a small per-person-per-day fee), and a refundable security deposit (often €1,500–€5,000 depending on the yacht). Optional extras like a skipper, hostess, paddle board, or early check-in are listed on the quote.
How does the security deposit work?
The deposit is held by the operator at check-in (usually card pre-authorisation) and refunded after check-out if the yacht is returned without damage. Many operators offer a deposit-waiver insurance product that reduces the held amount in exchange for a smaller non-refundable premium.
Can I cancel my charter booking?
Cancellation terms vary by operator. Most allow cancellation with a full refund if requested more than 60–90 days before the start date, with progressive penalties closer to departure. Some operators offer a flexible-cancellation insurance product when you book.
Is the yacht insured?
Yes — every yacht is insured by the operator against damage and third-party liability. The insurance covers the yacht itself; personal effects and trip cancellation are not covered and are worth insuring separately.
What documents do I need to bring?
You'll need your passport, sailing licence (if chartering bareboat), VHF radio licence, and proof of payment. The operator will send a check-in form ahead of time covering crew details and any special requests.
What payment methods are accepted?
Charter fees are normally paid by bank transfer in advance (often a 50% deposit at booking, balance 30 days before charter). On-base extras are usually paid by card or in cash.
