About this yacht
Our new Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67, Chiloé, owner's version, built in 2022, is the largest cruising catamaran from the Fountaine Pajot shipyard. With a length of almost 21m and a beam of 10m, she represents excellence in luxury and comfort, offering all the extras possible on a pleasure boat. And this season is its debut, as this boat will be delivered at the end of March by the shipyard, being the 29th of its series worldwide.

Equipped with 4 cabins of Italian design, all of them en suite, with individual bathrooms and electric toilets, a large, extremely luminous and comfortable saloon, connected to the aft and forward cockpit, with its Yacuzzi, and 2 cabins fitted out for the crew. Individual air conditioning in cabins and saloon, watermaker to avoid having to go to port to refuel fresh water, generator for 220v independently, inverter 220v, 3 fridges, freezer, gas oven, microwave, wine cooler, full kitchen on the fly, capsule coffee maker, WI FI, Bose stereo with bluetooth, TV in saloon, snorkelling equipment, paddle surf, large hydraulic platform and semi-rigid dinghy with 60hp engine.

Equipped with 750 w in solar panels that provide a great autonomy in optimal conditions of sun, avoiding the constant ignition of the generator, when the boat is anchored. Great Fly with solarium, kitchen and dining table, large solarium in the bow with Jacuzzi, different areas to relax and enjoy the sun or as a play area for children. The cockpit, well protected from the sun, communicates at the same level with the galley and the bow area.

For your comfort on board the boat is crewed by an experienced skipper, a sailor / hostess to make your holiday as pleasant as possible and a chef to make your dining experience on board unforgettable.
The best way to enjoy a dream holiday with family or friends in the paradisiacal surroundings of the Balearic Islands, a world-renowned tourist destination.
SailChecker Expert View

Who it suits This 2022 Alegria 67 is ideal for larger groups or families wanting plenty of space without sacrificing modern comfort, four cabins sleep up to eight, so couples or small families can each have their own quarters. The dual-hull design means excellent stability and minimal seasickness, which matters if anyone in your group is sensitive to motion.

Standout features You're getting a genuinely recent build with serious cruising credentials: water maker, solar panels, and a generator mean you can stay out longer and off the grid comfortably. The electric winches and full navigation suite take the heavy work out of sailing, while snorkeling kit and Wi-Fi keep everyone entertained between anchorages.

Value assessment At €50,800 per week, this is mid-to-premium pricing for a catamaran of this size and age, but the 2022 build year, four cabins, and comprehensive tech justify it. You're paying for a newer vessel with systems that won't nickel-and-dime you with breakdowns during your charter.

One thing to note The charter base location isn't listed in your data, so I can't advise on airport logistics or how convenient it is to reach from international hubs, I'd ask Phantom Charter directly about flight times and transfer arrangements before booking.

The marina & destination

Based at Playa de Talamanca, in Ibiza, Spain. Chiloe is operated by Phantom Charter.

Carrer Platja Talamanca 13

Why this is a great starting point

Playa de Talamanca lies on Ibiza's southeast coast and offers straightforward access to the islands of Formentera and Espalmador, both reachable in under two hours of sailing. Week one typically involves exploring the shallow anchorages and beach stops around Formentera, with reliable northeasterly winds supporting easy passages back to base. The marina also provides a jumping-off point for island-hopping towards Denia on the Spanish mainland if conditions permit, though local summer thermals can create light-wind days requiring patience or engine use.

Frequently asked questions
Can Chiloe be rented with or without a skipper?
You can charter Chiloe bareboat (you skipper) if you hold the relevant sailing licence, or hire a professional skipper alongside the yacht. The choice is yours when you request the quote.
What sailing licence do I need to charter Chiloe?
Bareboat charter typically requires a recognised sailing licence (RYA Day Skipper, ICC, ASA, or equivalent) plus a VHF radio licence. The exact requirements depend on the country of charter — we confirm with the operator when you enquire.
What's included in the charter price?
The charter fee covers the yacht, standard equipment, and insurance for the dates booked. Tourist tax, transit log (final cleaning + bed linen), fuel, food, marina fees during the trip, and any optional extras (skipper, paddle board, etc.) are normally extra and paid at the base.
What additional costs should I expect at the base?
Typical mandatory extras are the transit log (often €200–€350), tourist tax (a small per-person-per-day fee), and a refundable security deposit (often €1,500–€5,000 depending on the yacht). Optional extras like a skipper, hostess, paddle board, or early check-in are listed on the quote.
How does the security deposit work?
The deposit is held by the operator at check-in (usually card pre-authorisation) and refunded after check-out if the yacht is returned without damage. Many operators offer a deposit-waiver insurance product that reduces the held amount in exchange for a smaller non-refundable premium.
Can I cancel my charter booking?
Cancellation terms vary by operator. Most allow cancellation with a full refund if requested more than 60–90 days before the start date, with progressive penalties closer to departure. Some operators offer a flexible-cancellation insurance product when you book.
Is the yacht insured?
Yes — every yacht is insured by the operator against damage and third-party liability. The insurance covers the yacht itself; personal effects and trip cancellation are not covered and are worth insuring separately.
What documents do I need to bring?
You'll need your passport, sailing licence (if chartering bareboat), VHF radio licence, and proof of payment. The operator will send a check-in form ahead of time covering crew details and any special requests.
What payment methods are accepted?
Charter fees are normally paid by bank transfer in advance (often a 50% deposit at booking, balance 30 days before charter). On-base extras are usually paid by card or in cash.
