About this yacht
INCA is one of our brand-new yachts. She was just delivered to us from the shipyard in the beginning of 2024. She features a large custom-made front salon and a unique fly-lounge on the upper deck. Additionally, she is equipped with generator, air conditioning, watermaker, icemaker, teak deck, a custom-built large teak table, 2x Stand Up Paddle Boards, and Snorkelling gear. Underwater lights create the right ambience onboard. WiFi is complementary.

BASE
Our yachts are based in Sivota Bay, nestled in the southern region of Lefkada Island. Positioned centrally in the Ionian Sea, Lefkada serves as an ideal launching point for your exploration. From here, you can effortlessly sail either south or north, adjusting your course according to wind and weather patterns.
Sivota Bay itself is a charming and picturesque locale in the southern part of the island, offering a unique opportunity to start and end your sailing adventure in one of Greece's most idyllic setting.
Situated approximately 15 nautical miles south of Marina Lefkas, you'll enjoy the advantage of sailing ahead of the majority of other charterers. This allows you to discover typically more crowded destinations, such as the enchanting village of Fiscardo on Kefalonia, as early as Saturday evening.
Moreover, by returning to our base in a serene bay on Friday night instead of a bustling marina, you'll gain an extra day to savor the delights of being onboard and exploring the surrounding beauty.

SailChecker Expert View

Perfect for larger groups. The INCA sleeps up to 9 across 5 cabins, making it ideal for families or friends wanting their own space without chartering two boats. A 2024 Lagoon 42 catamaran is a modern, well-balanced platform for mixed ability sailors and non-sailors alike.

Really well equipped. Beyond the essentials, this boat includes a water maker, ice maker, and generator, luxuries that matter on extended charters, plus Wi-Fi, snorkeling kit, and SUP for downtime. The teak deck and cockpit cushions signal attention to comfort, and air conditioning throughout keeps everyone happy in warm climates.

Solid value proposition. A modest €1500 deposit combined with a freshly built catamaran from a 5-star operator suggests competitive pricing for a boat this size and spec. You're getting modern reliability without paying for unnecessary frills.

One practical note: We can't see the charter base location from your data, that matters for your flight logistics from the US, UK, or Europe. Once you confirm the base, check transfer times from the nearest major airport; some Mediterranean bases are 45 minutes away, others three hours. Worth factoring into your journey planning.

The marina & destination

Based at Port of Lefkas, in Lefkada, Greece. INCA is operated by Cavo Yachting.

Why this is a great starting point

Port of Lefkas sits at the northern gateway to the Ionian Islands, putting you within day-sailing distance of Meganisi, Kalamos, and the Scorpios group; week one typically involves exploring these sheltered anchorages with consistent northwesterly winds that favour southbound passages. The marina itself offers good provisioning and repair facilities, essential before heading into the more remote southern Ionian. From here you can reach Ithaca and Kefalonia by mid-week, making this an ideal base for first-time visitors to Greek waters seeking a mix of established mooring fields and quieter island passages.

Frequently asked questions
Can INCA be rented with or without a skipper?
You can charter INCA bareboat (you skipper) if you hold the relevant sailing licence, or hire a professional skipper alongside the yacht. The choice is yours when you request the quote.
What sailing licence do I need to charter INCA?
Bareboat charter typically requires a recognised sailing licence (RYA Day Skipper, ICC, ASA, or equivalent) plus a VHF radio licence. The exact requirements depend on the country of charter — we confirm with the operator when you enquire.
What's included in the charter price?
The charter fee covers the yacht, standard equipment, and insurance for the dates booked. Tourist tax, transit log (final cleaning + bed linen), fuel, food, marina fees during the trip, and any optional extras (skipper, paddle board, etc.) are normally extra and paid at the base.
What additional costs should I expect at the base?
Typical mandatory extras are the transit log (often €200–€350), tourist tax (a small per-person-per-day fee), and a refundable security deposit (often €1,500–€5,000 depending on the yacht). Optional extras like a skipper, hostess, paddle board, or early check-in are listed on the quote.
How does the security deposit work?
The deposit is held by the operator at check-in (usually card pre-authorisation) and refunded after check-out if the yacht is returned without damage. Many operators offer a deposit-waiver insurance product that reduces the held amount in exchange for a smaller non-refundable premium.
Can I cancel my charter booking?
Cancellation terms vary by operator. Most allow cancellation with a full refund if requested more than 60–90 days before the start date, with progressive penalties closer to departure. Some operators offer a flexible-cancellation insurance product when you book.
Is the yacht insured?
Yes — every yacht is insured by the operator against damage and third-party liability. The insurance covers the yacht itself; personal effects and trip cancellation are not covered and are worth insuring separately.
What documents do I need to bring?
You'll need your passport, sailing licence (if chartering bareboat), VHF radio licence, and proof of payment. The operator will send a check-in form ahead of time covering crew details and any special requests.
What payment methods are accepted?
Charter fees are normally paid by bank transfer in advance (often a 50% deposit at booking, balance 30 days before charter). On-base extras are usually paid by card or in cash.
