About this yacht
**ARTEMIS** is a 4-cabin, 10-berth Bavaria C45 Holiday—the latest innovation from renowned designer Maurizio Cossutti.
Commissioned in 2019, she stands out as truly unique, boasting a full-width cockpit and swim platform, sleek modern hull lines, oversized flush side windows, in-line ceiling hatches, and full-length skylights that bathe the interior in natural light. She is, without doubt, one of the finest in her class.

Boarding is via the wide teak swim platform, which leads into the spacious twin-helm cockpit where the intelligent, ergonomic layout becomes immediately apparent.

Designed for effortless sailing, ARTEMIS is fitted with the latest technology: a twin-helm configuration, cockpit-mounted B&G touchscreen management system with integrated chart plotter, bow thruster, autopilot,
Bluetooth speakers (in both cockpit and saloon), and an electric windlass with cockpit-based controls and chain counter.
Her fully battened mainsail and electric winches make hoisting the sail remarkably easy, while the self-tacking foresail ensures smooth, stress-free manoeuvres.
All running rigging is neatly hidden and led aft to the helms for simple short-handed sailing.
The shallow-draft keel is perfect for accessing Greek tavernas and shallow town quays, making ARTEMIS ideal for couples, families, small groups, or larger crews of up to 10.

The Bavaria C45 offers flexible cabin configurations, including a classic 3-cabin layout with a spacious owner’s cabin in the bow and two aft guest cabins, or a 4-cabin layout featuring two forward cabins and two aft cabins.
On ARTEMIS, the generous aft cabins share a bathroom with a separate shower, while the two forward cabins each enjoy their own en-suite. All heads are electric and equipped with individual holding tanks for maximum convenience.

For added comfort and independence, Artemis is equipped with modern amenities including a dedicated chart table with B&G touchscreen controls, solar panels, an 8 kW Fischer Panda generator, a 240V inverter, and Webasto air conditioning.

The full-size galley includes a hob, twin sinks, a chest freezer, and a twin-drawer fridge-freezer—making meal preparation for groups simple and efficient.
Opposite the galley, a large U-shaped sofa and table convert into a double berth or relaxed lounge space, complemented by an additional sofa on the starboard side.

Overall, **ARTEMIS** combines exceptional design, performance, and comfort—an outstanding choice for an unforgettable sailing holiday on the water.

The boat is based in Vliho Bay, offering direct access to the Southern Ionian Islands.
The base includes a pontoon, restaurant, hot showers, Wi-Fi, and a friendly team ready to assist with everything from transfers to route planning.

The yacht charter price includes-
• First and last night pontoon fees on our Vliho Yacht Club pontoon.
• Dinghy and outboard (including outboard fuel).
• Full fuel and water tanks.
• Bed linen and towels (beach towels not included).
• Starter pack which includes tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, water, cleaning products, bin bags, tea towels and toilet roll.
• Masks and snorkles.
• Stand up paddle board
• Final cleaning of the yacht.
• Route planning.
• Maps & pilot book (including Rod Heikle)
• 24/7 support.

The only extras you pay for are-
• Yacht diesel used during the charter. We arrange for the fuel to be delivered directly to the boat at our pontoon on your return. The diesel tank must be refilled and payment is made directly to the diesel truck driver.
Check in is 16.00 pm, we always try to have the boat ready earlier if you are arriving before 16.00 pm but we cannot guarantee this.
Check out is 10.00 am, we ask that you arrive back at our pontoon before 5.00 pm the day before or between 8.30 am and 9.00 am on the day.

The skipper of the boat must hold a current qualification/certification from their country that allows them to charter a boat of the same type and size. The Port Police require the skipper to sign a declaration confirming the above.
An ICC is required for skippers from the UK.

Please note:
If you are booking a bareboat charter (without one of our skippers) we require a 3500 Euros refundable security deposit.

As part of check-in, we ask that you complete and sign a credit card security form. This would only be retained in the unlikely event of major damage to the boat.
We do however understand that things can happen at sea, and you may lose a fender or a towel overboard etc, but these are just charged at cost price on your return.

We also offer additional services to ensure you have the best holiday!
• WIFI Hub
• Provisioning
• Additional bed linen and towels
SailChecker Expert View

Solid family choice. The Bavaria C45 is a well-built cruiser that handles 10 people comfortably across four cabins, making it ideal for extended family trips or small groups wanting shared costs. The 2019 build means you're getting modern reliability without paying new-boat prices.

Smart practical features. Solar panels, generator, air conditioning, and a bow thruster are genuine quality-of-life additions for longer charters, especially valuable if you're flying long-haul and want to maximize comfort without constant engine running. The included SUP and dinghy give you flexibility for exploration and water play.

Fair value proposition. At this size and spec, the €3,500 deposit is reasonable and suggests a competitive daily rate. You're getting a capable, well-equipped boat that won't nickel-and-dime you with rental add-ons for essentials.

One realistic note: Ten berths means some cabins will be snug, this boat shines for relaxed cruising with friends rather than formal entertaining, so set expectations accordingly if you're mixing ages or personalities in tight quarters.

Frequently asked questions
Can ARTEMIS be rented with or without a skipper?
You can charter ARTEMIS bareboat (you skipper) if you hold the relevant sailing licence, or hire a professional skipper alongside the yacht. The choice is yours when you request the quote.
What sailing licence do I need to charter ARTEMIS?
Bareboat charter typically requires a recognised sailing licence (RYA Day Skipper, ICC, ASA, or equivalent) plus a VHF radio licence. The exact requirements depend on the country of charter — we confirm with the operator when you enquire.
What's included in the charter price?
The charter fee covers the yacht, standard equipment, and insurance for the dates booked. Tourist tax, transit log (final cleaning + bed linen), fuel, food, marina fees during the trip, and any optional extras (skipper, paddle board, etc.) are normally extra and paid at the base.
What additional costs should I expect at the base?
Typical mandatory extras are the transit log (often €200–€350), tourist tax (a small per-person-per-day fee), and a refundable security deposit (often €1,500–€5,000 depending on the yacht). Optional extras like a skipper, hostess, paddle board, or early check-in are listed on the quote.
How does the security deposit work?
The deposit is held by the operator at check-in (usually card pre-authorisation) and refunded after check-out if the yacht is returned without damage. Many operators offer a deposit-waiver insurance product that reduces the held amount in exchange for a smaller non-refundable premium.
Can I cancel my charter booking?
Cancellation terms vary by operator. Most allow cancellation with a full refund if requested more than 60–90 days before the start date, with progressive penalties closer to departure. Some operators offer a flexible-cancellation insurance product when you book.
Is the yacht insured?
Yes — every yacht is insured by the operator against damage and third-party liability. The insurance covers the yacht itself; personal effects and trip cancellation are not covered and are worth insuring separately.
What documents do I need to bring?
You'll need your passport, sailing licence (if chartering bareboat), VHF radio licence, and proof of payment. The operator will send a check-in form ahead of time covering crew details and any special requests.
What payment methods are accepted?
Charter fees are normally paid by bank transfer in advance (often a 50% deposit at booking, balance 30 days before charter). On-base extras are usually paid by card or in cash.
