About this yacht
It’s no surprise this model was named **European Yacht of the Year in 2015**—the quality is immediately clear the moment you step aboard.
This Cruiser 46 is an excellent choice for sharing with close friends or family, offering generous space, comfort, and thoughtful extras throughout.

One of its standout features is found in the bow: a spacious and luxurious master cabin that can be easily divided using an innovative flexi-bulkhead system.
In just a few simple steps, one large cabin becomes two comfortable cabins, both sharing a bathroom with a separate shower. As an added touch of luxury, each of the aft cabins has its own private bathroom.

Accommodation can therefore be configured as **6 berths in 3 cabins** or **8 berths in 4 cabins**, with an additional berth available in the saloon if needed.

Twin wheels and dual rudder blades provide excellent stability and comfort under sail, while the bow thruster makes docking and maneuvering in local harbor's significantly easier.

The expansive stern bathing platform is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, relaxing, or simply unwinding by the water.
The cockpit—featuring large L-shaped seating—serves as the social heart of the boat, offering a welcoming space for everyone to gather and enjoy life on deck.

The boat is based in Vliho Bay, offering direct access to the Southern Ionian Islands.
The base includes a pontoon, restaurant, hot showers, Wi-Fi, and a friendly team ready to assist with everything from transfers to route planning.

The yacht charter price includes-
• First and last night pontoon fees on our Vliho Yacht Club pontoon.
• Dinghy and outboard (including outboard fuel).
• Full fuel and water tanks.
• Bed linen and towels (beach towels not included).
• Starter pack which includes tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, water, cleaning products, bin bags, tea towels and toilet roll.
• Masks and snorkles.
• Final cleaning of the yacht.
• Route planning.
• Maps & pilot book (including Rod Heikle)
• 24/7 support.

The only extras you pay for are-
• Yacht diesel used during the charter. We arrange for the fuel to be delivered directly to the boat at our pontoon on your return. The diesel tank must be refilled and payment is made directly to the diesel truck driver.
Check in is 16.00 pm, we always try to have the boat ready earlier if you are arriving before 16.00 pm but we cannot guarantee this.
Check out is 10.00 am, we ask that you arrive back at our pontoon before 5.00 pm the day before or between 8.30 am and 9.00 am on the day.

The skipper of the boat must hold a current qualification/certification from their country that allows them to charter a boat of the same type and size. The Port Police require the skipper to sign a declaration confirming the above.
An ICC is required for skippers from the UK.

Please note:
If you are booking a bareboat charter (without one of our skippers) we require a 3500 Euros refundable security deposit.

As part of check-in, we ask that you complete and sign a credit card security form. This would only be retained in the unlikely event of major damage to the boat.
We do however understand that things can happen at sea, and you may lose a fender or a towel overboard etc, but these are just charged at cost price on your return.

We also offer additional services to ensure you have the best holiday!
• WIFI Hub
• Stand up paddle board
• Provisioning
• Additional bed linen and towels
SailChecker Expert View

Perfect family choice The Bavaria 46 suits families and groups of up to 9 who want comfortable, modern cruising without complexity. Four spacious cabins with air conditioning make it ideal for multi-generational trips or friends sharing the cost.

Well-equipped cruiser This 2015 model has genuinely useful kit: bow thruster for easy maneuvering in tight spots, autopilot for longer passages, solar panels to reduce engine hours, and a teak deck that feels premium underfoot. The included dinghy and outboard give you proper exploring flexibility.

Solid value proposition At €5,250/week with modern systems, air-con, and solar power already factored in, you're getting decent bang for money, this isn't a budget stripped-out boat, nor is it priced like a luxury superyacht. The €3,500 deposit is reasonable for a 14-metre yacht.

One realistic note We don't have the charter base location in your specs, so we can't advise on airport transfers or how convenient the base is for international arrivals, that's worth confirming directly with Vliho Yacht Club before booking. Once you know where she's moored, check flight connections to nearby airports.

Frequently asked questions
Can WHISKY FOXTROT be rented with or without a skipper?
You can charter WHISKY FOXTROT bareboat (you skipper) if you hold the relevant sailing licence, or hire a professional skipper alongside the yacht. The choice is yours when you request the quote.
What sailing licence do I need to charter WHISKY FOXTROT?
Bareboat charter typically requires a recognised sailing licence (RYA Day Skipper, ICC, ASA, or equivalent) plus a VHF radio licence. The exact requirements depend on the country of charter — we confirm with the operator when you enquire.
What's included in the charter price?
The charter fee covers the yacht, standard equipment, and insurance for the dates booked. Tourist tax, transit log (final cleaning + bed linen), fuel, food, marina fees during the trip, and any optional extras (skipper, paddle board, etc.) are normally extra and paid at the base.
What additional costs should I expect at the base?
Typical mandatory extras are the transit log (often €200–€350), tourist tax (a small per-person-per-day fee), and a refundable security deposit (often €1,500–€5,000 depending on the yacht). Optional extras like a skipper, hostess, paddle board, or early check-in are listed on the quote.
How does the security deposit work?
The deposit is held by the operator at check-in (usually card pre-authorisation) and refunded after check-out if the yacht is returned without damage. Many operators offer a deposit-waiver insurance product that reduces the held amount in exchange for a smaller non-refundable premium.
Can I cancel my charter booking?
Cancellation terms vary by operator. Most allow cancellation with a full refund if requested more than 60–90 days before the start date, with progressive penalties closer to departure. Some operators offer a flexible-cancellation insurance product when you book.
Is the yacht insured?
Yes — every yacht is insured by the operator against damage and third-party liability. The insurance covers the yacht itself; personal effects and trip cancellation are not covered and are worth insuring separately.
What documents do I need to bring?
You'll need your passport, sailing licence (if chartering bareboat), VHF radio licence, and proof of payment. The operator will send a check-in form ahead of time covering crew details and any special requests.
What payment methods are accepted?
Charter fees are normally paid by bank transfer in advance (often a 50% deposit at booking, balance 30 days before charter). On-base extras are usually paid by card or in cash.
